In the Cornerstone Foundation, SpecialSkills has found a partner with similar values and goals. We have joined our efforts to theirs in fundraising, coordinating initiatives, and mobilizing support together to advance our shared goals and increase our collective impact.
We currently occupy an office space inside the Great Lakes Hospitality Institute, one of Cornerstone’s projects.
The Netherlands
— The Liliane Foundation
SpecialSkills partnered with the Liliane Foundation to strengthen special and inclusive education for children with intellectual disabilities in 7 school across Rwanda. With the support of Liliane Foundation and in collaboration with Nudor (National Union of Disability Organisations Rwanda), we implemented and followed up the project “Achieving the full potential for children with intellectual disabilities” that promotes access to quality education and meaningful inclusion.
Rwanda
—Rwanda Basic Education Board
SpecialSkills works closely with the Rwanda Basic Education Board to support national efforts in special and inclusive education. Through collaboration with relevant units, we contribute to strengthening teacher capacity, school leadership, and system-level approaches to inclusive education.

— The Enablement Foundation
SpecialSkills collaborates with the Enablement Foundation through exploratory and learning exchanges, including a prospecting visit to Malawi. This partnership focuses on sharing experiences and exploring opportunities for cross-country learning in inclusive education and disability inclusion.
Rwanda
— Hagari
SpecialSkills has partnered with Hagari to deliver training for assistant teachers, teachers, and social workers on inclusive education and disability. This collaboration also includes ongoing coaching visits to support implementation and strengthen inclusive practices over time.
Rwanda
— Green Hills Academy
SpecialSkills has provided training to the assistant teachers at Green Hills Academy, strengthening their capacity to support learnins with diverse educational needs withing an inclusive school environment.
